Fairfield University is a liberal arts school located in the quaint coastal town of Fairfield, Connecticut. The campus stretches close to 200 acres and is a compliment to the beautiful surroundings that makes up Fairfield. The community and Fairfield University realize the special connection that they have with each other, a connection that a fostered by the beauty of campus and town. That is why when you attend Fairfield you not only feel a part of campus and a member of the University, you also feel a part of the community that makes up Fairfield.
Fairfield University was founded 70 years ago by the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). It currently educates close to 5,000 students, including undergraduates and graduate students. The University offers undergraduate students that chance to major in 41 different disciplines and 15 interdisciplinary minors. Graduate students have the chance to choose from 40 different graduate programs, all of which offer the opportunity to develop and chase successful and passion-filled careers.
Since the Universities inception in 1942, they have had the privilege of issuing 45,000 degrees while sticking to their mission. They set out to “promote a sense of social responsibility and making sure all students embrace and develop their full creative, intellectual potential.”
Albert Cyprys is a graduate of Fairfield University. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University in 2014. In 2015, he received a Masters of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University as well. During his time there he was an active member of intramural sports, the accounting club, and the vice-president of Alpha Beta Psi.
